Astrological chart analysis
Astrology Birth chart or the Natal Chart is a astrological chart which shows the position of the sun, the moon and other planets at the exact time of a person’s birth at a particular place on earth. To draw an accurate birth chart of rasi chart, one has to know his date of birth, exact time of birth and also the place of birth. According to Vedic Astrology any person born on this earth has a pre-decided course of his or her life.
As per Vedic Astrology, there are twelve houses (ghar), twelve zodiac signs (rashis) and nine planets (grahas) in a birth chart. The month in which you are born is your sunsign, and the sign where the Moon is placed in a birth chart is the Moon sign of a person. As per Hindu or Vedic Astrology, the Moon sign, Moon’s position and its correlation with different planets is of immense significance. Also the current planetary transits (gochar) are calculated on the basis of planets’ movement vis-à-vis the natal moon. The number of houses that a planet (especially Jupiter and Saturn) is away from the natal Moon decides the transit results, whether the transit is going to be auspicious or not.
Another key aspect is the first house or the Ascendant (Lagna) that decides most about the native, his Health and his outlook for the world and how the world looks at him. If the Lagna lord (the ruling planet of the zodiac sign occupying the ascendant) is in good position, it means the native should have general good Health. At the same time it is important to see that there should not be any malefic or functional malefic planet occupying the Lagna. If the rulers of 6th, 8th or 12th house occupy the 1st house or the Ascendant, the native may have to face some Health challenges and may have expenditure for the same. Any aspects of the malefic planets are also considered while analyzing the state of Health of a person.
The sixth house is considered as the house of illness, enemies and loans as per the Vedic Astrology. The ruling planet of this house and its position is an important consideration for Health analysis. Vedic Astrology is also widely popular for its Vimshottari dasha system or the Periodic Analysis which really makes the predictions of life pretty accurate. Each of the nine planets has their governing Mahadasha and subdasha period. The longest governing period is of Venus (Shukra) for 20 years and Sun governs 6 years of the complete dasha cycle of 120 years. Therefore, many planets’ governing period does not even come in one’s lifetime. All the planets however, give their results in their governing sub-periods but corresponding to the Mahadasha lord. If the Dasha or subdasha lord or even the transits relates to the sixth house, there are possibilities of sickness in one’s life. The Healing or recovery is again based on how strong is one’s lagna.
